Our signature cultured ghee (desi ghee), made the traditional way from single-source British grass-fed dairy.
Unlike most commercially available ghee, which begins with butter, Ajji's begins with fresh cream. We culture it overnight, hand-churn it into butter, then slowly simmer it in small batches until it becomes golden, deeply aromatic and beautifully grainy.
This slower, traditional method has been valued in Indian households for generations and is what gives cultured ghee its rich, nutty flavour and unmistakable texture.
Use it anywhere you'd normally reach for butter or cooking oil: over rice and dal, on rotis and toast, for roasting vegetables, frying spices or finishing any meal.

This ghee is absolutely incredible. The moment I opened the jar, the rich aroma took me straight back to my childhood. It has that authentic, unadulterated flavor that is so incredibly hard to find these days—it is exactly how ghee used to taste when we were kids.

This ghee is delicious and I love using it in Kuchuri, Dhal and some of the dishes I make. It's also not too heavy and tastes delicious. Would definitely recommend this and purchase it again 😃.

Ajji's ghee is the best ghee I've tried in London. The ghee is made in a truly original and authentic way which really is the hidden secret behind its flavour and nutritional value, Melted butter is not ghee and I was so tired of finding only 'ghee' made from melted butter. That's when I came across Ajji's ghee. Since then it's the only ghee I use, I have bought numerous for family & friends who have all loved it and have been converted into Ajji's ghee customers!
