Refund & Return Policy

We hope you love your Ajji’s Ghee order. Each jar is made in small batches, packed carefully, and checked before it leaves us. If something is not right, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible at shopghee@shopajjis.com.

If your order has not yet been dispatched or delivered, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

Once your order has been dispatched or delivered, our returns policy below will apply.

Returns for unopened products

If you change your mind, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • unopened

  • unused

  • in its original packaging

  • with the seal intact

  • in a resalable condition

Once you have told us you would like to return your order, you will have a further 14 days to send it back to us.

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue your refund within 14 days to your original payment method.

Opened food products

For food safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened jars or food products once the seal has been broken, unless the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, leaking, or incorrect, please email us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel at shopghee@shopajjis.com.

Please include:

  • your order number

  • a short description of the issue

  • clear photos of the product, packaging, and parcel

Depending on the issue, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit.

Please do not dispose of the product or packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may need photos or further information to help resolve it.

Melted or softened ghee

Ghee can naturally soften or liquefy in warm weather or during transit. This does not usually mean the product is damaged or unsafe. Once kept at room temperature, or placed briefly in a cool area, it should firm up again naturally.

Texture and colour may vary slightly from batch to batch because Ajji’s Ghee is made traditionally in small batches.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow a few working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Any upgraded or express delivery charges may not be fully refundable.

Market and in-person purchases

For purchases made at markets, pop-ups, or in person, we can only offer a refund or replacement if the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases made in person.
